UN condemns assassination of member of Kirkuk Provincial Council

Mr. Khalil and his wife were killed when unidentified gunmen fired on their car in central Kirkuk on Tuesday.

“I strongly condemn this inexcusable act of terrorism and urge the authorities to bring those responsible to justice”, Mr. Kubiš said.

Mr. Kubiš expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, the Kirkuk provincial government and the Government of Iraq.
